Solar panels in car parks
I recently called on the Welsh Government to look at the feasibility of passing legislation requiring large car parks to have a canopy of solar panels over the site, as part of the global effort to tackle climate change.

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to pay tribute to Alfred Russel Wallace, who was born this month 200 years ago and whose ideas changed the world.

The first week of the new year in the Senedd has been a busy one as there have been lots of important points to raise with the Welsh Government regarding the crisis in the NHS and the ongoing Cost of Living Crisis. Here are some of the issues I have raised.
Gleision inquest announcement welcomed by Sioned Williams MS
Plaid Cymru Member of Senedd for South Wales West, Sioned Williams has welcomed the decision announced today to re-open a full inquest into the Gleision Colliery mining disaster.
This comes after a long campaign, supported by Sioned Williams MS, by those directly affected by the tragedy which claimed the lives of four men in 2011.
Sioned Williams joins RCN workers in demanding fair pay for nurses
Plaid Cymru Member of Senedd for South Wales West, Sioned Williams today joined a picket line outside Morristion Hospital and was in Neath Port Talbot Hospital last week, where nurses are calling for fair pay and conditions as part of a nation-wide strike by the Royal College of Nurses union.
