Sioned Williams echoes Federation of Small Businesses’ calls to lower business rates in town centres.

This week, Plaid Cymru and the Welsh Government announced a 3 year capital budget investment of £102 million in flood risk management as part of the Cooperation Agreement.

Plaid Cymru MS for South Wales West, Sioned Williams, has demanded that the Welsh Government tackles failures in the provision of NHS dental care following the publication of figures showing that 83 fewer dentists were offering treatment on the NHS last year compared to 2020, and 117 fewer than in 2019.

Sioned Williams, Plaid Cymru Member of Senedd for South Wales West, has expressed her support for University and College Union (UCU) members who are on strike. Staff at 68 universities across the UK, including at Swansea University and the Open University in Wales, have taken to the picket lines to demand fair pay and pensions.

Plaid Cymru spokesperson on Social Justice and Equalities Sioned Williams MS today welcomed the new Co-operation Agreement between Plaid Cymru and the Welsh Government, which includes a key Plaid Cymru commitment to introduce free school meals for all primary school children. The Agreement also commits the Welsh Government to supporting the devolution of the administration of welfare – another key Plaid Cymru policy.
