Communities of Culture

South Wales West has a rich heritage and vibrant cultural offer. Over the centuries, poets, artists, authors, musicians, actors, sporting icons and many more have lived and worked in our communities. We have impressive ruins in every corner of the region, from castles to copperworks, monuments to the legacy of those who came before us.

I want to highlight this tapestry of talent and the rich culture of our communities. I believe that by shining a spotlight and taking advantage of what we've got, we can realise benefits to the health, wealth and wellbeing of the region.
