Buses are essential services for many of my constituents. Every day, buses ensure people can get to education, employment and key public services. They are important for our health, wealth, and wellbeing, contributing to keeping us connected and reducing transport related carbon emissions.
However, buses are under threat.
With increased costs, reduced income from passengers, and funding cuts from Welsh Government, buses need our support now.
Over the last few years, I have called for public transport to be recognised more for the contribution it makes and the important role it plays in the lives of many thousands of my constituents.
