Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual observance that honours the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. Today I stand with my trans siblings in Wales and across the world who are abused, slandered and persecuted merely for the so-called ‘crime’ of being themselves.

Plaid Cymru MS for South Wales West, Sioned Williams, has urged the Deputy Minister for Climate Change, Lee Waters, to “significantly improve” current plans to construct the Swansea Bay and West Wales Metro as they “more or less completely ignore” the Swansea and Afan Valleys.

It's 100 days since I was elected as Plaid Cymru MS for South Wales West. It's been a huge privilege to speak up for residents and also raise issues as Plaid Cymru's spokesperson on Social Justice and Equalities.  Together with my Plaid Cymru colleagues ,  I will continue to challenge decisions when needed and hold the Labour Welsh Government to account to ensure a fairer Wales.  Here are some images which convey these first 100 days of my role.
